In 1973, C. T. Martin was born in New York City.  Before moving to Houston in 1988, he experienced childhood in the small town of St. Charles, Illnois.
As a child, among his literary inspirations were authors such as C. S. Lewis, Roald Dahl, and Shel Silverstein. He was also an avid reader of Greek mythology.
Having a passion for writing since age 15, he has written business articles for Fortune 500 companies, resumes for many clients, and various works of fiction.  He resolved to produce a body of work that would satisfy the needs of his readers and his desire to create.
At the tender age of six he was also drawn to music. He studied piano until age 18, and after an hiatus of over a decade, resumed studying piano in addition to his other interests.
He currently resides in Texas where he also enjoys reading, chess, cooking, golf, and observing the stars and planets.
